What is Malt & Barley Live ?

Every year, PYE proudly hosts Malt & Barley Live, a festival that celebrates all things whiskey, a true homage to the spirit of the nation.

Last year, working with 25 of the top brands and distilleries from Ireland and beyond, welcomed  just over 200 whiskey enthusiasts to join us for a day of sampling, connecting, learning, and celebrating all things whiskey. It was a whiskey lover’s dream come true!

This year, we’re expecting an even greater interest from both the consumer as well as brand side, and luckily we have the space to accommodate a growing event within PYE still.

Headline Opportunity

As a Headline Brand, you get optimum brand exposure on all Malt & Barley Live promotional material, as well as exclusive use of an area within the bar.

Several areas are available at various tiers, accommodating anywhere from 3-4 brands to 5-8 brands depending on area. Each area allows for greater branding and signage opportunity as well as exhibition space along with TV screens for slideshows, logos, videos and more. We’re open to hearing ideas that you might have to utilize this added space should you be interested.

Event Timeline

  • Malt and Barley Live is taking place from 1pm to  5pm on September 13th 2025
  • Set up on the day is possible from 9am
  • We require exhibitors to have set up completed by 12pm
  •  
  • Early Consumer Access opens at 1pm 
  • Standard Consumer Access opens at 2pm
  • Pouring Finishes at 5pm 
  •  
  • Consumers are cleared from premises by 5:30pm 
  • The exhibitor after party will take place in the Penthouse Suite starting 6pm
  • Pye will re-open to the public at 7pm
 
       Deep Dive Master Class Slots 
             First Session               1:30pm – 2:15pm
             Second Session          2:30pm – 3:15pm
             Third Session             3:30pm – 4:15pm 
( Masterclasses take place upstairs in the Penthouse, running parallel to the main event downstairs. )

Registration

To register your brand for Malt & barley Live 2025, please follow the link below to a secure Stripe payment portal, using your sponsors support code, THECORKSCREW (all caps) you will be able to avail of the 50% fee reduction, making registration €150 per stall / per brand. 

Allocation of stands are on a first come first served basis, a general location of stall positioning can be pre-arranged with the Events Manager. While we will take the upmost care in honoring these arrangements, they are subject to change if circumstances arise. 

Exhibitor stands are provided by the venue, and are typically 4th 6th in width, with space on either side as well as behind for pull ups, back drops etc. If you desire to bring your own stand, please pre-arrange with Events Manager in advance, including dimensions. 

All attending consumers will be provided with a tasting glass along with water in a welcome bag on arrival.
